Combining the strength of linen with the softness and drape of rayon, this linen/rayon blend is truly unique. This fabric is medium-weight, fluid, opaque, and silky. Linen has a cooling effect, while viscose makes the garment very pleasant against the skin and has a superb drape. In addition, the stretch of linen facilitates comfort and a good fit.
Its cultivation is very ecological because it requires very little water: rainwater is sufficient. Unlike cotton, which consumes a lot of water, irrigation is unnecessary. It is also possible to do without pesticides and chemical fertilizers because the fiber plant is resistant. Flax retains CO2: one hectare absorbs 3.7 tons of CO2 per year!
