Properties
Combining the strength of linen with the softness and drape of viscose, this linen/viscose blend is truly unique. This fabric is medium weight, fluid, opaque, and silky. Linen has a cooling effect, while viscose makes the garment very pleasant against the skin and has a superb drape.
Flax cultivation is very ecological because it requires very little water: rainwater is sufficient. Unlike cotton, which consumes a lot of water, irrigation is unnecessary. It also eliminates the need for pesticides and chemical fertilizers because the fiber plant is resistant. Flax retains CO2: one hectare absorbs 3.7 tons of CO2 per year!
